"I Am For You"

Over 2 decades ago I heard these words with the ears of my heart. Since then I've come to believe that this is God's posture toward every indvidual and also that it's how we were created to live in relationship to all others.

"I began to hear God's gentle voice whispering, "I am for you." I recognized the words as those I'd most longed to hear from human lips. I had never seen them in the pages of Scripture before, yet suddenly they were emblazoned across each and every one. As I continued to listen, God confirmed and clarified, "I am the One who is with you and for you."
